چکیده

† Currently Research Laboratories *1 LTE: Extended standard for the 3G mobile communication system studied by 3GPP. Achieves faster speeds and lower delay than HSPA. *2 OFDMA: A radio access scheme that uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). OFDM uses multiple low data rate multi-carrier signals for the parallel transmission of wideband data with a high data rate, thereby implementing high-quality transmission that is highly robust to multipath interference (interference from delayed waves). Dynamic slot-based carrier scheduling scheme for downlink multimedia traffic over LTE advanced networks with carrier aggregation

Carrier aggregation (CA) in long-term evolution advanced (LTE-A) networks is a promising tool for providing bandwidth extension for high data rate communication. In CA, the efficient scheduling of carriers has imposed a new challenge in the design of delay-sensitive carrier scheduling for mobile multimedia applications. In this paper, a new dynamic slot-based carrier scheduling scheme has been ...

Performance of Separate Random User Scheduling (srus) and Joint User Scheduling (jus) in the Long Term Evolution – Advanced

Carrier aggregation (CA) is one of the main features in Long Term Evolution– Advanced (LTE-A). CA will allow the target peak data rates in excess of 1 Gbps in the downlink and 500 Mbps in the uplink to be achieved and the users can have access to the total bandwidth of up to 100 MHz. The system bandwidth may be continuous or system consisting of several parts of non-continuous aggregated bandwi...

Effective Carrier Aggregation on the LTE-Advanced Systems

The initial release of LTE provided extensive support for deployment in spectrum allocations of various characteristics, with bandwidth ranging roughly from 1.3 MHz up to 20 MHz in both paired and unpaired bands. In LTE release 10 the transmission bandwidth can be further extended by means of so-called Carrier Aggregation (CA), where multiple component carriers are aggregated and jointly used f...

Fair Scheduling Algorithm in Lte-advanced Networks

The Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-Advanced) transmission bandwidth can be expanded by Carrier Aggregation (CA), where CA technology expands effective bandwidth supported to User Equipment (UE) by utilizing of radio resources across multiple carriers. Recently, many studies have been conducted on the radio resource allocation with CA. However, most of these studies are based on Proportional ...

A Novel LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation with Higher Throughput

Carrier Aggregation (CA) is one of the important features of Long Term EvolutionAdvanced (LTE-Advanced), which is being standardized in Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) as part of LTE Release 10. This study also presents throughput results based on different parameters; Beyond 20 MHz, the only reasonable way to achieve LTE-Advanced highest target peak-throughput rate is to increase t...
